Tagged!

I have been tagged by Yoon See! Ok, so it was a long time ago but I couldn't let her down no matter how late! This is a picture of a kiwi she was having for a meal.. but as you can tell she was not very hungry hee hee! So she made it into a game! She tagged me (plus others) to draw on it and make the kiwi into something. Taadaaa!

  1. Too cute! Fruit people..how fun!
Thanks for stopping by my blog SG! I wanted to touch base and let you know that my "shaky" bridge illo took about 2 hours. I sketched it at night for about a 1/2 hour and then basically scrapped the layout in the am, redrew it, then took it to the watercolor paper - and then went for it. I'm really trying hard to get faster. The pen-and-ink/digitally colored illos take less time, since once they're in the computer, I have more "confidence" when coloriing because I can change my mind and cntrl-z things...hope this helps. I am still working on faces, and bodies, and poses, and such...and want to post those too- maybe over the weekend if I can spare some time. Have a wonderful weekend!!

  3. Cute mr. Kiwi :-)

Thanks for dropping by my blog, Squirrel Girl! To answer your questions, a picture book is typically 32 pages. When you do you art, you always want to do it to actual size or bigger if you are going to hand paint it. Then when you scan the art, it will have better solution.

Best of luck to your book! And to your move too! :-)
    Cheers!
